- Health Care
Making quality healthcare affordable and accessible has been the objective of the Trust ever since its inception. The Trust has initiated several activities that benefit the rural and urban poor. Various blood donation camps have been organized by this trust since its inception to help poor people. Apart from organizing health camps and health awareness programmes, the Trust also distributes medicines to economically weaker sections of the society.
- Education
A secondary school has been run by this trust for the past ten years, in which free education has been provided to the poor children irrespective of their caste , race and creed .school dresses are provided free of cost to these children.
- Social Rehabilitation & Rural Upliftment
Even after 60 years of Independence, villages in and around pilibhit continue to remain backward due to a combination of natural, social and economic tribulation. They include illiteracy, unemployment and lack of sanitation, waterborne diseases, malnutrition, alcoholism and scarce medical facilities among others.
Dhan Baba Deep Singh Ji Trust seeks to address the needs of societies most neglected. The Trust is lighting a candle instead of cursing the darkness. Its contribution to reducing these problems may amount to a drop in the ocean today. All the same, the ocean is richer by a drop. Some initiatives taken by us for Social Rehabilitation & Rural Upliftment are: Helping people in Disaster like Tsunami, Earthquake, flood etc, We have contacts with various Helping Rehabilitation Centers (NGO’s) which helps children, old aged, mentally challenged, physically challenged, street children.
- Women Empowerment
The condition of rural women in India is still pathetic, we have taken many initiatives for Women’s empowerment through economical upliftment, adult education and co-operation programmes. The Trust has facilitated women’s self-help groups through financial assistance for employment ventures. Besides that education has been provided to woman so that they become self-dependent.
The majority of people in the rural area of pilibhit district are too poor that they are not even able to bear the expense for the marriage of their daughters, For the past many years our trust is helping these girls by providing financial aid for the marriage, and many times searching the right life partners for these girls.
- Helping Accident Victims
Where people are feared to help the accident victims at the moment of road accidents, Our volunteers come forward to assist these accident victims, rescue them to the hospitals within no time and provide them with first aid.
- Computer education
As the computer education is must in this fast changing world, but weaker sections of our society are being deprived of this education, Our trust has organized various workshops in the rural areas, where modular training programs have been conducted in which basic computer knowledge has been imparted to the poor people and motivation is being given.
- Providing Employment Opportunities
Our trust is recognizing the talents in the weaker sections of the society and aiding them in getting the right job, Our trust has many volunteers who are industrialists, they are not able to devote much of their time, but they help in the indirect manner by providing the employment opportunities for these poor people.
